Our Capabilities

We provide practical, fit-for-purpose tunnelling and underground services, from design and fabrication through to installation and maintenance.

Tunnelling Methods

We use roadheader and tunnel boring machine (TBM) methods, selecting the approach that best suits the ground conditions and requirements of each project. Our teams work to site safety procedures throughout, supported by our drafting, fabrication and engineering capability.

Rock Bolting & Reinforcement

We install rock bolts and Split Set systems to reinforce rock masses and provide effective ground support in underground workings. For deeper and more substantial reinforcement, we install cable bolts in areas that require increased support capacity.

Mesh & Surface Support

We supply and install mesh systems to help control loose rock and provide additional surface support. Where extra reinforcement is required, we install Geobrugg ground support systems, along with temporary works and ground support to keep areas stable while work progresses.

Shotcrete, Lining & Grouting

We apply shotcrete and deliver tunnel lining and concrete works to strengthen and protect underground excavations. Our grouting and grout treatment services help improve ground stability and support the long-term integrity of tunnels and underground structures.

Ventilation & Dewatering

Effective airflow is essential to safe underground work. We install ventilation fans and associated infrastructure to help maintain suitable working conditions, along with dewatering systems to manage water in underground environments.

Drafting, Fabrication & Structural Steel

Our detailed drafting and fabrication capability means components are designed and built with installation in mind. We also install structural steel underground, bringing design, fabrication and installation together under one coordinated approach.

Utility & Service Tunnels
